World of Women takes immense pride in being an engaged, mission aligned community with members all across the world ✨ WoW Meetups is an initiative to create deeper and more meaningful relationships among our holders through the funding of local meetups on a global scale! 🫂

IRL gatherings are an important aspect of community building in web3, and we wish to facilitate many meetups as long as they match our criteria! More on that below, but first: Have you always been the one who plans outings in your friend group? Or the one who’s always updated with the best things to do in your city? Well, The Time is WoW for your skills to shine!

As a meetup host, your responsibility is to gather WoW and WoWG holders in your city and come up with a meet-up proposal for the WoW team to review and hopefully fund! Here’s a few words of encouragement from our previous hosts:

“As someone who organizes several events yearly (and enjoys the process), WoW meetups are a no-brainer. They build cohesiveness for holders in a particular city and can lead to life-long friends as in our case.”

“I LOVE WoW Meetups - they are a game changer. I can tell you that we are already planning the next WoWcouver (even if not funded by WoW). These connections made are priceless.” -**Mitoshi /** Vancouver

“Our #WoWToronto meetup was the first IRL NFT meetup for a number of attendees. These small events are a great initiative to build the local community.” - Nonfungiblekent / Toronto

The experience of our #KWoW community meeting was amazing. I didn't know there were other WoW & WoWG holders in Korea! Meetups are a good opportunity to meet each other and stay stronger.” - Sooyeon Kang / Seoul

“The WoW community in NYC is extremely vibrant. I was new in the city when I started organizing meetups. Looking back, it is incredible to think how these meetups helped me find new friends and opportunities. I recommend any WoW holder to consider organizing meetups in their city. It will enrich yourself and the people that participate!” - Mebynetta / New York
